Got Moss?

Here is a reminder of the potential problems that can occur hidden away out of sight. We identified this problem whilst repairing an adjacent roof glazing panel. Although the glazing is regularly cleaned by window cleaners, as in so many cases the damage to the glazing system has not been picked up by the window cleaners.

The glazing has slipped allowing moisture and grime to infiltrate the primary seal resulting in the growth of moss, further forcing up the cover caps.

Glazing Refurbishment have been asked to carry out a full seal service which will:-

- Totally freshen up the glazing system
- Restore the integrity of the glazing
- Help extend the life of the installation.
