Imperial War Museum Duxford
25/11/2015
Glazing Refurbishment are proud to have reached a milestone in the completion of structural glazing works at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. The Sir Norman Foster structure required maintenance and general updating including total strip out of the internal area which
involved careful removal and re-positioning of the priceless aircraft within.
Having removed and stored the glazed facade panels (some weighing in at over half a tonne) plus the structural full heightt steel mullions/transoms,
we sourced all new glazing replacements to re-instate the whole facade to a new condition.
This great video shows the whole process including the removal of the priceless aircraft.

Glazing Refurbishment's dedicated high level glazing division recently carried out the commercial glass replacement of 10 no high level damaged glass units withing central London's busiest commercial districts.A comprehensive health and safety plan, Road closures, permits and traffic management strategies were then arranged in conjuntion with Transport For London and the neighbouring buildings.
The works were then completed over a weekend utilizing a combination of truck mounted city crane, hydraulic a-frames, power suction lifters, high level glazing techniques and abseil technicians.

Docklands Glass Replacement
20/03/2013
A great installation job was carried out by our most experienced team at the weekend. A very tricky job being 3 damaged planar glass units on top of a glass office in the Canary Wharf area of London. A beautiful location, but extreme caution and safety measures were employed to protect the passing public, as all units were craned from the dockside onto the office "Island".
Our custom strapping system reduced the amount of debris to an absolute minimum, avoiding any damage to client property
