Abseil Team Complete Quality Assurance Checks

As part of our aftercare service, GR visited the Imperial War Museum with our abseil team to complete our quality assurance checks to the now year-old curtain walling that was installed to the American Air Museum at Duxford.

Originally GR was instructed to conduct the removal, repair and reinstatement of the existing curtain wall system to the American Air Museum hangar. The size and scale of the project required specialist planning with the glazed panels each requiring removal from the existing structure and transporting for storage. During the main works our projects team sourced a variety of specialist access machinery from cranes to numerous MEWPs to assist with the removal and install of the glazed panels and steel mullion / transom details.
