High Level Intrusive Glazing Inspection

Glazing Refurbishment have recently finished an inspection service for a client in Wales.

Due to the scale of this operation GR utilised three glazing technicians and two IRATA Level 3 abseil technicians. The inspection included a full intrusive dilapidation inspection of the entire curtain walling system. An intrusive inspection involves taking off the pressure plates and cover caps in order to fully expose and assess the glazing system underneath.

The inspection was concluded with a water test in order to establish areas of ingress. The information collected during the inspection will now be collated into a report, along with recommended remedial repairs, and passed onto the client.
